SRINAGAR  is a small town situated on the banks of Alaknanda River along the National Highway No. 58(Delhi to Mana). It is the base camp for the pilgrims going for Char-Dham-Yatra that covers Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Gangotri.
